This isn’t necessarily a post that refers directly to training; it covers life in a wider sense and why change is important to all of us!

When Personally Training started, it was a reaction to the approaching 3-0 in life. I was still working in recruitment, training after work and feeling like there was something missing.

I’ve known for a long time what that ‘something’ was.  Finally, that ‘something’ has become a lot more of a scary and exciting reality. I resigned my job. Personally Training now becomes IT for me. Focusing on helping others with their fitness goals, challenging myself to be the most complete physical version of myself I can be.  Hopefully I’ll still being able to write the odd nonsensical blog for the website, too.

What I’ve learnt is you need to break things down into smaller goals that relate to one larger goal (i’ve talked about this in a previous post). As with anything in life, breaking things down into smaller chunks ultimately will make the end goal easier to achieve.

Life is genuinely too short not to try something that you’ve always wanted to do. Take the plunge, be brave. Change is GOOD. Set up your own business, make an offer on a house, commit to changing an aspect of your fitness. Whatever it maybe – do it. If you have the drive and determination to succeed, then it will work.

I’m expecting stress, ups & downs and a few grey hairs. But this is what I’ve wanted for a long time. I’m fortunate enough to be working with Physiq Apparel and hopefully that is a sign of things to come. Check them out by the way…

Currently, I’ve got space to help 10 new clients with their ‘Change’. Whether that is to build mass, lose some unwanted weight or improve your overall levels of fitness. I want to help you. If you want to have better chat then drop me a message on the Facebook group, private message or email me at If you know anyone who would also be interested tag them and share away!

P.S – I couldn’t have a post called Changes without a picture of this man in here…
